Every few years, Dad uprooted our growing family with each step in his electronics career. As the eldest, Christopher travelled more miles in his childhood than the rest of us. Leaving friends, schools, and communities behind so often must have been difficult. Maybe it’s why he entrenched himself in the San Juan Island community, remaining there for the rest of his life.
